HB-A1Ms

The HB-A1Ms is a compact smart security lock that acts as a secondary, or sub, lock alongside a master unit such as the HB-A1M. It adds an extra secure point to a shipment while the master lock handles connectivity and management. Its ATEX-rated explosion-proof shell and IP67 waterproof sealing lets it operate safely in demanding and hazardous environments.

The HB-A1Ms is built for multi-lock cascade operation. One master lock can control several HB-A1Ms sub-locks, so a multi-door container or a group of assets can be secured together without giving every lock its own SIM. This keeps deployment simple and reduces running costs while still protecting each locking point.

An explosion-proof, ATEX-rated device is engineered so it will not ignite flammable gases or vapours around it. This makes the HB-A1Ms well-suited to tanker security, fuel transport, oil and gas logistics and other hazardous cargo where a standard lock would not be safe, as well as everyday container and safe box lock use.

It supports fast RFID card access within 2.5 cm and mobile app control over Bluetooth 4.0 within about 20 m. Access is limited to authorised users, and each locking point is protected independently, which suits regulated logistics vehicle and cargo movements across the UAE.

Because the HB-A1Ms works as a sub-lock, it runs efficiently and delivers up to 90 days of standby on its 2,950 mAh battery at a 10-minute reporting interval. It recharges over a standard 5V DC 2A supply in about 3 hours, so it is quick to turn around between shipments.
